This weekend, we were at the Goodwood Motor Circuit for the 22nd annual Revival Meeting. Each year, the event makes it look like time has stood still in 1966, which is when contemporary racing stopped at Goodwood. This is thanks in part to beautifully prepared circuit that is complemented by ever more elaborate period buildings, and also thanks to the thousands of visitors that dress up for the occasion. While there was much more to see around the circuit than is humanly possible in three days, we focused our attention on the on-track activities. These included all the popular races complete with the star drivers and priceless machinery. In addition to the racing, there were also special demonstrations and parades commemorating 75 years since D-Day, the 60th anniversary of the Mini, Aston Martin's World Championship securing TT victory at Goodwood and of Cooper's Formula 1 Championship winning effort and Sir Stirling Moss' 90th birthday.
Enjoying a fantastic Indian Summer with blazing sunshine for three full days, we spent our time at Goodwood very well with this 250-shot gallery and concise report as the result.
