Thats correct,it has less jets and by pumping more fuel over the range(by bigger jets) it tends to smooth out the cam in the low rev range,the same as richening up the idle mixture will smooth out the 'Lumpy' idle(if the cam has been modified) but you will definately get more power over the rev range than Dellorto's and yes they are definately not "fit and drive",you really need to know what U are doing to run Weber's/Dellorto's and even Solex's though these are very basic compared to the other 2.If you don't need to worry about originality,go injection with independant trumpets,will give the same sound with alot more power,drivability and fuel economy,carbs are a thing of the pastOriginally Posted by Matra et Alpine
