OK, that's a matter of terminology then I was thinking of this frame as of a part of chassis.

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Don't they also use wood for the barge boards on F1 cars as well? And what type of wood is used I wonder.
Not 100% natural wood.

Lotus is in for WEC and Le Mans with seemingly JPS black&gold livery. Kolles runs two LMP2 Lolas with Lotus badged Judds.
Toyota is apparently unveiling the team officially tomorrow (Jan 24).

Brilliant, thanks! Already figured they dubbed it TS030.
I wonder how convenient do they all feel in a cockpit with their height difference?

They are entering 2 cars instead of 1 this year at Le Mans. And might enter 2 cars in more WEC events this year.
Interesting bits, Hybrid will run supercapacitor instead of battery(or flywheel). The 3.4 liter engine is new, not based on the previous Super GT/Formula Nippon unit.
IMO, the car looks better than Audi or Peugeot that came before it...and has a proper paintjob. I am quite interested to see how it will do...

Great news!
It probbably means that we can expect some Peugeot drivers to show up somewhere around TMG garage very soon, why not? Sarrazin, Bourdais, Gene, Montagny, Lamy, Pagenaud, Minassian, Davidson are all left with no seats as far as I can judge. A pretty decent supply now, isn't it?
Bourdais is running Indycar full time this season....the rest may well be available...
But Toyota being Toyota they will probably add more Japanese driver still..
Nothing wrong with how the Audi or Peugeot look, aside from IMO both were not as aesthetically pleasing, though Peugeot got better in the 2nd 908 and with proper paint job. R18 is an odd looking car, more purposeful than pretty...

Didn't know about Bourdais' Indycar deal. Smart move, given how good he was there before.
