    Plans for my truck

Ok, so strangely I've made 3 threads today. Must be really bored. Anyway, this is essentially what I've been wanting to make my truck look like.

Attached is what I'm basing it on, and here are pictures of my truck:
    http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...3&d=1171830768

(really bad angle, the front isn't as low as it seems. goofy bug deflector left the day I got it, side rails are leaving tomorrow.)

And here's what I think I'll have to do:
    -Window tint
    -Flowmaster Super 40 Dual Exhaust
    -Black "Bullet Hole" grill
-American Racing Python Wheels (what's on that truck, but I can't find the black version, so I think I'll get A.R. Clash wheels.) With all terrain tires.
-New Mirror Pieces (Black to replace Chrome)
-F/R Bumpers powder coated black to replace chrome.
-Grey Plastic piece on bottom of front bumper replaced by same piece but black plastic.

This seems like all it's gonna take to make my truck pretty much badass. Can anyone think of anything I'm missing here?

    Ugh, I hate chrome.

Matra, I don't have any guns, so I'd probably end up using a gun rack as some sort of backpack holder.

Yeah...Johnny...good to see you back, figures your first post would be ridiculing something about my car.

i think a 2" lift and some real sized tires woudl do you well. i dont think a 4+ lift woudl be that good, lose a lot of highway friendliness that way, but just make it stand up above the billions of other trucks in texas.

I thought about a lift, and since it needs new shocks anyway I might get a 2" lift if I can find one. Problem is on sites like 4wheelparts i can only find 4" lifts for Compensation Mobiles.

Do you know of a place I can get a good quality suspension lift (or for 2" would a body lift be better? I don't really think it would look right, but i don't know much about lifts) for relatively inexpensively? I think 30" all-terrains would look good, but because there is no weight on the rear tires i get little traction in the wet as it is, so I'm thinking i need just street tires.

Black rims are a must for sure, probably in the 16-17" range.

did a little bit of looking, and here was one thing i could find. there really is a plethora of lift kits out there for gm trucks.

Do you know what a good brand is? Theres tons out there and I want to make sure I don't buy one that's expensive thinking it's good and find out it's shit, or buy a cheap one trying to save money and have it be shit too.

    thanks
