Those both look very nice indeed. The GT2 was my favorite 996 model so hopefully this new one will be a great improvement to keep my loyalty.

The GT3RS also looks very nice. The wing still has some of the sculpted look to it and not just a plain normal wing. Hopefully it will be a serious track car.

The rear tyres on that GT2 are enormous! If the Turbo does a sub-4 second 0-100, the GT2 must get close to 3

Wow, were are the people now who said there wouldn't be a GT2?

I wasn't expecting the Test Cars to show up so soon, but I knew one was coming.

    Good find!

The already famous GT3 RS... The GT2 looks really good. A GT3 crossed with a Turbo or something like this... so nice.

In the 996 generation, people used to talk more about the Turbo and GT3, with little mention of the GT2? How come, when its the most powerful 911?

Probably because it was made in very low volume compared to the other two you mentioned.

    Just better performance

To tell you the truth, I don't stay up at night thinking of what the next Porsche will look like. Not becuase I don't like them it is because they look the bloody same as the previous one. Now that is probably Porsche's strategy on the whole 911 series. It terms of performance, they always will outdo their previous models but that's what most car companies do anyway. Good on Porsche.

Not to mention, it was the most expensive Porsche before the Carrera GT, and I don't think Porsche showered it the way they did with the C. GT.
