How the hell do you snap understeer? You'd just roll in one of those.

In japan I was driven around in a Subaru Sambar Domingo. Similar thing, glass roof, awesome. and madness.

It works if you drive like a moron. From what i know, snap-understeer is when your car totally unexpectedly begins to understeer heavily.

But then again, you would expect a Kia to understeer...

Thats kinda my point, understeer is a default for most drivers and expected.

oversteer is unexpected...wtf is the tail doing?

i have seen the top gear in question... it pulls that wonderful combination of terrible understeer, and snap lift-off oversteer. with nothing in between. of course it is helped out by may and hammond in the back seats, but it was still some appalling handling.

oh, and snap understeer doesn't exist.

Powerful, but good-gripping fwd cars can have rather spontaneous understeer. However, i have to admit that i only used "snap-understeer" because it sounded more dramatic cmc is right, I've just managed to confuse myself
    Shame to me.

Understeer isn't spontaneous. Understeer only appears if you do something wrong.

Oversteer can appear suddenly and unexpectedly. Even in front wheel drive cars.
