    Murcielago in FIA GT?

    hello everyone,

this is my first post - so please be gentle.

i've read in a magazine that lambo is going to compete against the ferrari and porsche in fia-gt next year.
    is that true?

cannot wait to see the r-gt in action.

    greetings
    comaha

well, if you're reading it in a magazine, it's most likely true.

Everyone missed it racing this year?

Supposedly they are, but I am sure the team that ran the R-GT this year decided to pull out.

Ferrari are racing the 575, I think Care are still sticking with the 550 though.

The Porsches are all in the GT class, not in the GTS alongside the Ferraris, Aston, Lamboghini, Corvettes and there might be a few Saleens as well.

    It goes like this:
P1 (ex LMP 900) - Audi R8, Some Lolas, Dallara, Dome, Lister, Pescarolo, Zytek etc

P2 (ex LMP 675) - WR and Courage

    GTS - Corvette, 550, 575, DBR9, Murky R-GT

GT - many 911s, a few TVRs, a couple of 360s and the odd Morgan.
    Thanks for all the fish

It was in Auto Motor und Sport.
They only wrote Lamborghini Murcielago - not exactly R-GT.

Well I don't think there are any in the LMES or ALMS, and I didn't think that there were any in the FIA GT Championship, but there was at least one, which only did 4 events, run by Dutch team Zwaan's Racing, and I have seen pictures of another.

However, the FIA GT website doesn't seem to have a full list of participating teams.

Then there are sll of the various national championships.

GT racing is a complete mess at the moment. I am surprised that the teams don't have their own individual categories.
    Thanks for all the fish
