I don't really know what came out in 1988, a list would be nice. I guess Porsche 959 will do.

Oh this is an excellent idea. I really don't know though. The Audi Quattro (seeing a pattern here) is definitely up there as is a Volkswagen Corrado or Nissan 300ZX.

    Hmm 1971 spoilt for choice

    DeTomaso Pantera
    Lamborghini Muira P400 SV
    Ferrari GTB/4 - GTS/4 Daytona
    Jaguar E-Type
or maybe even a Porsche 917

Tough choice but if i had to it would be the Muira P400 SV

The only one I can think of that was available in 1982 is a Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler. I'm sure there's something else, but largely I feel the 80's sucked.

Crossed my mind before I realised mechanical sympathy Isn't in my dictionary.

I'd approximately get 59.7 kilometers before the apex seals give out.

Does it have to be introduced the year of your birth or just in production?

In production I say - or if you feel like it, both.

I thought introduced, but in any case the M3 E30 would probably still be (near) the top of my list.
