    Audi R8 Spyder (42) 2009-

Here we are, for the hide-out please.

I think it's interesting. There are actually a few changes here other than just the roof being chopped off. Also, it will only be available with the V10.

did you make that remark on the colour of German sportscars with some awareness of history?

Brown is the new White it seems.

I feel as though it doesn't survive the translation from Coupe very well....the emphasised B-pillar is gone, as has the side profile.

Interesting how this car shows both a lot more Gallardo and TT than the R8 coupe. However that is certainly not a bad thing. In other words, I'll take it.

And I even like the colour.

That makes two of us. I'm not saying it looks bad... but there are a lot of other colors I'd rather see it in. Looks good with the top down, what about with the top up? I remember when they dropped the top on the 350 Z - looked great with the top down... up, not so much...

I was thinking the same, especially the rear is pure Gallardo.

not at the moment, but i am aware that fashion started with introduction of 997 turbo, which was heavily promoted in this brown colour, as a reference to first of 911 turbos
