A lot of people passed on the ML because it doesn't have third row seating, that's why MB created the GL-series. The GL is essentially a long-wheelbase ML, imo. It's even going to be built at the same plant. Why they picked the name GL confounds, as it cheapens the G-class. ML(X) would have been better; "T" for touring, "R" for ranch, "W" for wide...take you pick.
