    So what's your major/career path?

I'm going to school to get my Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, in Aircraft Maintenance Technology. I'll probably get my avionics degree after that as well.

There is no smiley here, but I would consider this to be one of the best posts of the day....

I have a BA in criminal justice. I would like to steer my career into being a specialist for the government. I was thinking about school saftey and disaster planning management. I have sat on the board during a few schools crisis planning, though, only as a volunteer.

I'm a photojournalism major. Ideally I will travel the world and take pictures of various events. Or I will be unemployed.

Good to see people with directions . I see such apathy today in school leavers around here, its ashame if there isnt something to keep some people interested and motivated to achieve the best they can and do a job they enjoy. (im a mechanical engineer)

I thought about being a mechanical engineer. Then I realized I was garbage at math.

I'm doing a safety major myself. One of our projects involved disaster management for school buildings. Very interesting since you have to look at laws, practical problems and of course costs. We constanlty faced the same problem: the school board kept saying: "but who is going to pay for all this? We never had an emergency situation so we don't need all the fancy alarm systems". That's one of the tricky parts of the job, but also what is makes it so much fun.

But at the moment I'm doing this safety study and I also am planning to become a voluntary fire-fighter. This way I can get my basic degree fire fighting and do my own study. This could clear my way to the fire department academy.

After highschool I went to college majoring in Technology Education(computer/woodshop/autoshop teacher). I went for one semester and decided it wasn't for me. I dropped out and started working at an autobody shop, restoration shop, machine shop and a race track. Within 10 years I hope to have my own restoration shop and/or be the manager of the local drag track.

BS in Business Administration with a Minor in General Management. I currently work as an Executive Assistant Manager in charge of 5 Assistant Managers and around 50 employees... also working under one Store Manager.

Don't know if retail is right for me, but it's paying my bills for now.

I have a degree in Automotive Technology from a major automotive technical institute. I currently work in a dealer as a Parts Specialist.

But I someday hope to open a Margaritaville-esque themed hamburger joint on an island in the Caribbean. Only it'll have pirates and not lame music.

In my first year of Mechanical Engineering and hoping to start a minor in German next year. My dream job is to work at BMW's headquarters in Munich, and a professor I know has the connections to get me an internship there. All I can do right now is cross my fingers, though.
