Might go turbo in a few years with it, once I get used to it.
The other car is the brothers he bought his and I decided to stat racing too.
His is a silvertop 20valve and mine is a blacktop 20valve. We both got sick of crewing for my nephews(his kids) on race meets and wanted to have a steer.
Hopefully will have both cars ready by mid year for the 3rd state round in August out at Mallala

Gotta a couple of mates who have put up their hands, the problem with that is once you crew and see the absolute ball they have on the track, you end up building a car yourself

Mate's are something i have trouble trusting this year They say they are going to do this and that for you and never do.

Maybe 2008, doing the state round at Mallala on August 25, so wont have the cash for an interstate trip( wife may kill me),. The nephews are missing the local state round so they can compete in the Vic state round at PI.., porbably come over to help them with the cars. Should be good, as long as it doesnt rain.
Defenetley want to try PI one day though

From what I have read so far (when looking at the customisation) you just stick with the base of the seat and get the approved expanding (closed cell) foam. Place the recommended amount in a plastic bag behind and under you while sitting in the seat and it fills the gaps to fit to you.
Obviously you remove the seat cushions 1st

No Mr. Craig, I expect you to die! On the inside. Of heartbreak. You emo bitch
Yeah thats basically it. Ive seen it done for F1 seats. They set the bag up with the 2 pac foam inside, driver sits in and gets comfortable whilst the foam expands around them and eventually sets hard. Obviously, whatever you lay over that (CF, kevlar or fibreglass) will be youre mould.
Im thinking of doing it for myself when i get a car, but the process seems a bit too expensive and elaborate for a road car.
