Nah... way too tame for a Group B car, maybe the Sport Quattro.

(And as Sam pointed it isn't mid engined)

All you people dogging this car would wet yourselves if you ever rode in it.

Why? Just because it's suppose to be fast? I don't wet myself too easily. Do you?

Now that Iv'e seen the riced up interior and a close up of the ricer wheels, I'm even more amazed by this bad-taste display.

Me wants. Is the VAG W12 engine not just 2 of the old 3.0V6 engines coupled together?

the vr6 started as 2.8 and grew to 3.2, the W12 has always been about 6 litre, the unique 72 degree mating of two 12 degree v6's (vr6s) is the significant bit.Thw W12 is clever and compact, just not so good at heat dissapation. It is restricted by its very short crankpins/ thin con-rods and is in general restricted to undersquare bore/stroke ratios, (while the W16 in the veyron has a square bore:stroke ratio- this is a W12 x 1.5, longitudonally)

    A 6.0l W12 is logically 2 x 3.0 Vr6.

    eg:

    current R32 VR6 - bore * stroke 84 x 95.9 mm (note R36/passat has 89.0 x 96.4 mm)
    W12 (phaeton/bent gt) - bore * stroke 84 x 90.20 mm
