I'v never liked Rolls; I don't like the Cadillac, either, but I do dislike it less. So, the Caddy it is.

Actually, I want the Rolls to win. Because it will make it eaiser for me to buy my next Cadillac.
That was one of my "underhanded" reasons for this poll.

Rolls, Caddys are for pimps wannabe gangstas...
Rolls.
Maybe in another 20 yrs the Caddy will look classic or retro-cool or something, for now it just looks over the hill. No hard feelings...?!

The Caddy cause the Rolls isn't a car you drive.

Isn't it 25 years before a car can be technically considered a Classic? So any car even from the 1980s can be a classic. The way I see it the '50s Caddilacs look gorgeous, whereas the later-60s Caddy just looks like an old car. No doubt the 60s cars are better than the 70s and 80s but that's mostly because the newer cars plain suck, imo.
Compared to the Rolls however Cadillac just comes up short, the two are built to different standards.

Yes, it's usually 25 years, so a '69 Cadillac qualifies! But it does depend on the car, I would say. For instance, a Ford Pinto will never be a classic in my eyes.
The irony is... probably most of those who voted for the Rolls would get tired of it faster than the Cadillac. Because the Cadillac is more of a driver's car... handles better, more power (can easily burn rubber), much more room inside, better ride, more effective climate control system...Compared to the Rolls however Cadillac just comes up short, the two are built to different standards.

True, the Cadillac probably is the better driver, handling wise anyway. To me though the Rolls tops the Caddy because its the iconic luxury/prestige car; almost entirely handmade, even the ball-bearing that go into a Rolls were finished by hand.
Neither is really my kind of car. I know the new Maybachs are limos you could enjoy driving yourself but I still see them best chauffeured. So, picking the Caddy because it's a better driver it kind of pointless argument to me.
What I do find appealing about the Caddy is that being made from GM parts, it's probably cheap to maintain and reasonably reliable.
