If the axle that's at the FRONT of the car was referred by you as the FRONT AXLES, then I assume you are trying to say the engine at the BACK of the FRONT axle

More weight at the nose results in more nose dive under braking and rise during acceleration, also unresponsive steering and understeer at the limit.

I thought the RS6 was 'Tiptronic' auto only, with no manual option?

It isn't unless you buy one, go to MTM and ask them to do the conversion with a reinforced RS4 gearbox.

No the first Audi to feature a DSG is the new TT.

NO. IIRC it's the old TT, around 2004 when the GTi MKV started selling as well.

    Negatory.

Tiptronic only because at the time VAG didn't have a manual transmission that could handle the power whilst meeting the price point, the Porsche 996TT manual could have been beefed up but that would cost well over $20,000 and according to my dad a replacement for his tip is about $12,500, so that would've raised the list price considerably.

I'm please with how UCP feels on this comparison.

Actually, you're right. It was the old 3.2 quattro that had it.

Old TT 3.2 had DSG, then it appeared in the new Golf, Audi A3 and Seat Leon.
