Yeah, Jalopnik is reporting that it's canceled. Makes perfect sense financially. And it wasn't going to be mid engined anyway. So, yeah, I guess somewhere in the future we'll get a better one, I hope.

No F1 probably kills the marketing aspect of it too....
I'd also imagine the overhead for a Halo car is pretty high, considering it needs its own plant and the less automated manufacturing method...
Despite the non-mid-engine layout and what not I think it could have been a pretty amazing car, considering the recent high-performance offering from them(JDM Civic Type R, NSX-R, etc), all cars with very good fundemental traits to achieve good performance..
