Technically it's not technically a 'Shooting Brake'. So technically they can call it the Shooting Break and it's ok. Technically.
Personally... meh. Doesn't do much for me designwise. I really don't like how the nose juts out at the grill there.

Life's too short to drive bad cars.
The beauty of this vehicle is that the interior and exterior are, for the most part, complete. Concept car's don't have proper wing mirrors or airvents in the interior unless they're serious about producing it. I'd estimate about 90% of what you see here will make the production model.
And I think this is fairly nice.

There's the Merc shooting break.

Wow, look at that glorious engine bay.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
I like it .
I'm not quite sure about the front. It looks too bulky and fat, the grille looks too prominent and not sure about the headlamps either. This in my opinion stands out so much in this car because everything else is so sleek.
But, as a concept, and the proportions, it is spot on in my opinion. Once you're past all the silly concept car detailing, and as Revo says this isn't really a concept car, it's a beautiful looking estate car, very stylish and with a low profile, which I personally like rather a lot.
The only way in which it could maybe be imporved, front aside, is losing a door on each side.

Semantics is a funny thing, eh. You can make words mean anything you want them to mean.
For comparison, my (and the rest of the world's) definition of concept in automotive world.
Concept - an exercise to demonstrate the technical skills and imagination of the designers, and not intended for mass production or sale.
Fair enough, maybe you are correct. I suppose that there is a difference between a concept car and a preview or production intent vehicle. I haven't heard that sort of language used previously however. I typically hear any vehicle that isn't the production model being called a concept as a blanket term - by the press, by the automakers (Benz calls this a concept) and the general public. I would say there's an argument to call it a concept of what the road going model will appear as. The interior will surely change a large amount for example.
Where did you get that definition of concept from? When it comes to the term concept car, we are working with something that doesn't really have a hard definition. You say that the rest of the world's definition of concept in the automotive world is as you say it is, but is that really the case? Are there not more like me? As previously mentioned, even the automaker themselves call this a concept. I know calling something something doesn't make it it, but it is a good indication of how the word is used.
Then again, maybe you are right - maybe this isn't a concept. I'm not too sure anymore myself to be honest.
