Delayed again.
Sony has announced an indefinite delay to the Japanese launch of Gran Turismo 5 (GT5), the latest instalment of a massively complex and popular driving simulation game thought to have cost more than $60 million (£37 million) to develop and for which fans have been waiting in vain for years.
The delay will probably derail Sony’s plans to “bundle” the PlayStation 3 console together with the new game to boost sales during the critical spring sales period in Japan.

The making of GT5 can no longer be termed game development...in reality it is a bloated hobby and obsession of the GT series creator....at the expense of Sony.

isn't all the Japanese based killer-app for PS3 like this? MGS4 had a tough birth(and probably just as niche of a game).....

I've seen some demo videos lately of GT5 running on some kind of new 3D technology. Heard some rumor that the latest delay has to do with PD trying to fully implement this new tech into the game. Monumental waste of time...of course. Just iron out all the current bugs and release the damn thing already.
