Well, 19 year old Colin Braun driving for Roush got the pole, kinda of a surprize. Scott Pruett starts next to him. Ambrose starts fourth and Said fifth. I'm pulling for Ambrose.

Ambrose started from pitlane after a problem with the clutch, drove through the field, but got hit with a drive through penalty or something when his mechanics jumped the wall too soon in his stop, drove through the field again and finished an awesome 2nd place.

It was good to see Ambrose finish 2nd, after a bad start to the season.

Wasn't very smart on Lepage's part, didn't catch the race as my power was out, but I guess Franchitti broke his ankle in another wreck? In other news, Kyle Busch won the Arron's 499 at 'Dega

I thought Stremme did a great job filling in for him Sunday.

WTF were the medical team doing ?
Broken ankle and their walking him supported under his shoulders to an ambulance !!
Why no proper trauma treatment in removing him ??

Man that was a hard hit, maybe they didn't know it was broken at the time?
    Happy Dale Earnhardt day!

Dario did climb from the car under his own power, and he did try to walk to the ambulance, but he obviously felt too much pain in his ankle to do so, the safety workers assumed (as Franchitti did too) that he had only sprained his ankle, but he was transported to a local hospital where he found out that it was broken.

Well the good ol boys were in Richmond, VA this weekend doin a little shortrackin. This weekend was no ones but Denny Hamlin's. The hometown hero won the Nationwide race on Friday, and nearly dominated the Sprint Cup race leading 381 of the 400 laps run, but it wasn't meant to be. Check out some of the vids.NASCAR.COM - Bowyer wins as Hamlin, Junior come oh so close - May 4, 2008

I think Kyle Busch could've waited to make the pass on Jr., he clearly had the better car and could've easily got him coming out of 4 on to the frontstretch.

But Dale's misfortune was Bowyer's good luck I suppose.

I agree, Kyle Busch is as talented and determined to win like Earnhardt Sr. Although I think NASCAR today is way more competitve and less forgiving than the NASCAR back when Earnhardt Sr. was making his name, so it would be hard for Kyle to put up the same numbers are Dale Sr.

My head asploded when I read the comments though.

Kyle Busch is a pretty good driver, I'll give him that. But he isn't the next Dale Earnhardt. Busch drives like him, but I don't think he'll change the sport like Earnhardt did. Oh, and he isn't afraid to give somebody the chrome horn either, and thats what NASCAR needs.

I don't like the double standard that's going on here in NASCAR.
