That generation pre-facelift wasn't bad at all.
That generation of all years was certainly better than the one before, KITT or not.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

"Kitdy- I actually think they are utterly hideous. I'd say it's in the bottom 5% of looks for cars I see on the street - and that's being generous."

Im sorry you feel that way *Dies a little inside* but to each there own you may not like my dream car but thats no reason for me to stop dreaming about the day ill buy one

Is there any reason to buy one of these over a Camaro?"

Yes there are and here is a few the camaro ss is a 6.0l V8 with 305 Bhp whall the transam has a 5.7l V8 with 325Hp if it has the ram air system other wise its the same amount of power, lol there the same and chasis but the main diffrence is the sheet metal i just think there great looking cars

"whiteballz- That borders on Pontic aztec ugly if I'm being brutally honest."

    Nothing is that bad!

bottom line i love the trans/am and to each there own i was just sharing my thoughts no one will ever turn me away from the Pontiac Trans/Am WS6 Ram-Air T-Top *Drools*

Pagani Zonda F roadster, in orange, with a red/varnished wood interior.
Automotive perfection. Nothing you do to it could make it any better.

If it was just going to be miles and miles of interstate (generally straight, with long flowing sweeping turns) I'd take something like a Mercedes S-Class or a Maserati Quattroporte. Something big and comfortable but with some decent speed. If I was going to be taking backroads that would have more tighter corners and allow for more involved driving I'd take a Maserati GranTurismo or a Lotus Europa.

Isn't the Europa a bit hard? I've read some refiews, and it was mostly said to be not as comfortable as other GT-like sportscars.
