^^^ The car that cemented Roush as a force in IMSA, plus Scott Pruitt, Pete Halsmer & Tommy Kendall's career.

to be honest, I have no idea, this a completely blank part of automotive history to me, just found the shots, because the cars happened to be, where we were....they seem to be too young to make it to Laguna Seca in August.

    VW Lupo GTI

Factory wallpaper shots for you. It's quite a tidy design.

Thank you. I remember seeing the normal Lupo (in a magazine) near the turn of the decade, hearing it could do almost 90 mp(i)g with a diesel engine (possibly an eco special?) and not really caring. Now though, I have to admit I really like its simplicity of design and of purpose.

The Lupo GTI was considered one of the best pocket rockets in its time. However it was terribly expensive.

So, having do a bit more research, I have found that this one was called the 3l for 3l/100km (74mpg). Sure, it made many ergonomic sacrifices to get there, and was, like the GTI, probably too expensive but I find that to be quite the feat of engineering.
I can only wait for the next 74mpg car to come out...

....and wait, and wait and wait.

Don't wait too much though, because the latest blueneticecomotion protptypes are quite close to that mark (in the official tests at least). And there were also the Arosa and A2, which also had 3 litre versions.

Wonder if anyone could work their magic and get some old photos of the Honda Legend, the 1st and 2nd generation are missing. If you could include the coupes too, that'd be awesome.

Also, wonder if there were any updates on the Honda/Acura Vigor?

    Thanks!

I have a request too. Actually two requests.

    Toyota Publica
Hi-res media or brochure pics. I realize it's a long shot but worth a try.
