From another era, the Renault Gordini. This Vintage piece was conspicuously out of place at the Belmont Shore Car Show Sunday. Never the less it brought back memories and was a nice example. Neat little cars.

Specifically that is the R8 model ( or a reasonable replica )
Intrigued , did they sell them in the US without the model number ?
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
Old cars are really wonderful to watch. How it has been maintained? Did you replace parts?
I don't think the 8 was ever sold in the US, although its predecessor the Dauphine was.
It also wasn't sold as a "Renault Gordini", unlike the Dauphine, which was (at least in Spain). We also didn't get an 8 Gordini at all, but rather our own domestic sporty version, the 8 TS.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
