    1933 Pierce Silver Arrow

love this car's design. it was described as "in 1933 the car of 1940" because of its built in headlights, sweeping grille, smooth front fenders and lack of running boards. 5 were ever built and one of those paced the indy 500. designed by Philip Wright. very rarely hear of this car. what do u think?

Hey, Pierce-Arrow, the only car company to be based in my hometown of Buffalo, New York. There is a new Pierce-Arrow museum opening soon in downtown Buffalo. But whatever you do, don't try to go in the winter.

Sesquipedalian -- a really cool word. It means long-winded, polysyllabic, or verbose. See the word describes itself...isn't that neat?

This will do, but I thought you might want to go their yourself and give us a treat of your artistic impressions.

Perhaps one day I will, but I don't live in Buffalo anymore. I grew up there, but moved after graduating from college, I live almost 750 miles to the south now. Perhaps sometime when I go up there to visit family and friends I'll have time to check out the museum.

It's not wise to revive two year old threads.

    Beautiful car by the way.
