Maybe I'm thinking of the Focus concept...

Looks better than what i was expecting. Should be interesting to see what similar themes are picked up by the 2008 Falco

So, basically this is Euro Ford Mondeo which was launched five years ago.
Or are there any noteworthy differences beside some cosmetical changes?

    Cheers!

A Ford Fusion is a sort of mini-mini MPV launched aobut three years ago, which received lots of negativs criticisms. (My father in law has one, he does not watch top gear ). Strange that Ford is using this name again for something rather different.

Just like the Ford Fairlane SUV concept. The Fairlane was always a large sedan, and since 1967 we've been making them here as a longer wheelbase version to the Falcon. Maybe Ford US needs to pay more attention to their existing lineups

Yeah, I thought that was odd, too. You would think they could come up with a different name. I think even staying with the 427 name would have been nice.

Only thing that messes up it is the chrome sorta clear tail lights. It'd be better with some small red ones like in a line or something.

As this has been brought up, I suppose I'll put my two cents in. It is actually a surprisingly nice car. I handles fairly well and the engine is great, my parents have one and the only thing that has gone wrong with it is the lumbar in the driver's seat is broken-a fairly common problem, from what I hear.

It's a shame Ford discontinued their SVT operations; I'd love to see an SVT Fusion and/or an SVT Five Hundred. They seem like cars with enormous potential to me. The only performance models in Ford's US lineup are the Mustang and the-- um, I think that's it.
