Now Henk4 and I were checking Tamiya 1/12 Ferrari model instructions to see if we could decide how blue it was. It's not very helpful.
Do you have an accurate colour rendition of it as it's clear from all the photos that it looks different darkness dependant on the surroundings ? As I've not built mine yet, I'd like to get it as close as possible.

When I did the Tamiya Ferrari 312B, I didn't made the driver because it's too big. Jacky Ickx is not that tall neither that large. Also the Tamiya booklet is wrong as well as the decals (using Jackie instead of Jacky). "Jackie" was seen only during the first half of 1968 on his helmet and racing suit. But at that time, the helmet was an open face one.

But the closest colour for 1970's helmet of Jacky is Humbrol #15. I saw that helmet at Bell's factory and compared to #15, there is no significant difference.

The car's decals are correct but I used the conversion decals kit that I got from F1specialities.com in order to make the Belgian GP 1970 version. I thought that it looks more original that the regular Tamiya version.
