kinda wierd how the caris out of production and they're still making race versions, but that's okay by me lol.

would it even be possible? how would it even fit in any of the specifications.

I always felt that the DBR9 and 550 looked pretty badass for GT1. This isn't bad though.

I think the 2010 regulations for GT1 only require 1000 road going examples produced.

I'm sure they can take out the posh leather seats, and thick carpet, and replace them with carbon fibre and steel? and making the spoiler just one big piece, means saving a lot of weight, and also means 2 less intercoolers. I'm sure they can do it if they want to... if they feel people are willing to pay like a billion dollars...

Sorry if I cannot express myself correctly, but I don't know English as good as I want, so my answers will probably be the same in many cases.

The latter is cheaper and has a higher return...

However nice this GT looks, i can't get past the fact that this car is getting old. It's not in production anymore and has been long since outclassed by better road cars.
Buying a car and not driving it is like buying a meal and not eating it.

I just hope this one has the performance to match the GT1 Corvettes, Aston Martins, and Maserati.

Purely hypothetical, but do you think they would keep the same engine for GT1? Because that thing is big.

agree, they were freaking expensive even if based on a production car like the DBR9. Hope this will fill the grid with much more entrants.

which are quite more than the 25 asked right now
the option of swapping engines between cars of the same brand could give us some intriguing results too.

obviously no, but by the end of 2009 hey will all become "illegal".
Probably some of them could continue to run with some modifications.
I know for a fact the MC12 is homologated until the end of 2010 btw.
