Aside from the (assumed) vast bulk of this, I kinda like it. Something different in a segement usually comprised of wobbly blobs.

I think it looks good but this car/SUV thing has a base price of (give or take) $30,000 USD and it just doesn't look like it should cost that much. It just doesn't have the same "style" as the Lexuses, BMWs, and Infinitis it shares (if not, borders) a price bracket with.

There don't seem to be too many on the roads here.

I guess Ford wanted too much. You can't sell "upmarket" cars if you don't have the reputation to do so. I mean everybody who sees this thinks "hmm, for the price of that Ford i would get a .....". The Flex may be good (i don't know, actually), but it's simply too expensive.

I actually saw one over here not so much ago. First thing I thought was the proportions were completely different from what I thought.
Overall smaller, definitely lower, perhaps a bit longer. A weird car, but always consider it as an option (for a family car in the US that is, not my situation presently).

Rented one recently and liked it... the proportions and panel detail help with the boxiness, and performance is good.
More usable interior space than similar vehicles like the Q7, which I've also rented. Good alternative to a van/SUV.
Never own more cars than you can keep charged batteries in...
