The speed record in a Need for Speed?

This is my speed record in all Need for Speeds, it's from NFS3. It was achieved using a huge negative (about -100) braking deceleration and a heavily modified track.

Faster, anyone?

This was achieved using normal (gas pedal) acceleration.

The best (though not the best possible) acceleration. It was also achieved using negative braking decel.

Here's a simulation of Thrust SSC. That dark motion blur-like thing belongs to the dashboard, so it's stationary.

One more interesting thing: a helicopter.

And the opposite side: going slow. Very slow.

If you don't want to become very unpopular i suggest you should have made a thread about the game, asking people what they thought, if they still played it. Asked them if they have made any mods to game, introduced a few sites and then showed what it can do. As it is these sort of threads are just annoying.

going by your logic you should have still only posted 3 posts.. but anyways whats the fun in reaching top speeds in a game...i just topped my car at 101MPH for the first time ( on a private runway i must add )...Finally i have broken my 100MPH duck...

Okay, okay, I won't do it again.

Reaching normal top speeds are really pointless on their own but doing Mach 19 is a different story.

Well.. I have Need For Speed 6 ( Hot Pursuit 2 ) for PC, and.. I remember I did about 1 million something before. The cars can be edited easily, since all its informations are stored in a .txt format. Therefore.. I was able to change the torque, centre of gravity, price, etc.
