    404 Error Message

From multiple computers now, both in my house and at other places, UCP has had a lot of difficulty loading. I am receiving this error from Chrome:

    Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forum/forumdisplay.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
And many images are not leading properly. Posting this thread took multiple reloads due to 404 errors and several icons/images on this page are not loaded.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Can this be fixed? I do not think it is on my end as I said this has been the case from computers even outside my home network.

    Thanks in advance!

I only experience red crosses in a lot of attachments since the past few days. The 404 Error is new for me.

I have had it on several sites, so I assume it is not UCP specific.

I had it on a lot of forums lately... maybe it's a general forum problem?

My Firefox has been giving me no 404s, but I have had pictures not being displayed like MoS.

If you have attached images not displayed and you refresh immediately you'll likely get the 403 (forbiddens are 403, timeouts/not found are 404) message. I get it at work but not at home which is a little odd - same browser, but different OS. It's unlikely to be a security difference at work - I'm a security guy. We get.. priviledges.

I have not experienced the the problem out here on The California Central Coast.
I am using Safari on a Mac, with a cable service provider, Charter Communications.

No 404's but plenty of 403's... though images will open in a separate window. Very odd.
I haven't been to my office in over a week so haven't tried the Mac.

With all the spammage recently, any worries UCP is compromised?

It seems to be a time based thing - too many connections in X amount of time. If I refresh or hit up a picture immediately it 403s, if I give it a few seconds it's ok.

Thanks for the head's up. I am looking into it.

I get 403s/404s so often that it makes browsing very hard. I just reloaded this page 10 times to finally open it, and still many images are not showing up.
