Ferrari massacre in Hengelo (The Netherlands)

Extremely sad news. Yesterday, the Ferrari and Maserati dealer in Hengelo (The Netherlands) burned down. A lot of supercars died in the flames. I dunno the numbers but there where at least 2 F40's, 2 Gallardo's and a lot more. On the news I heard there also was a Ferrari destroyed worth €900,000, so that might have been an Enzo or an 250 GTO
I think Koenigsegg is Swedish for: "Oh no, my head's just exploded!"

Judging from the remains of the cars, it's most likely an Enzo that went up in flames there then. I hope they don't have the same insurance company as I have.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Sad thing is also that the cars could not be rolled out of the showroom, because they were locked, upon the request of the insurance company.

The first pic looks like a 348 Challenge in Shell livery.

It was mentioned that some historic racing cars were lost which could actually mean the 375F1, which was raced by Van der Loff in the early fifties, and whose family is from the region the showroom was in (Twente).

There is one 250 GTO in Holland owned by Fritz Kroymans, and that is in Hilversum.

    Day of mourning

To every car lover in the world and especially Ferrari fans, I suggest we have a day of mourning. Please wear a black tie or arm band.
