    A. 5'1" tall (155 cm) and have $500,000 in the bank

    or

    B. 6'1" tall (185 cm) and have $10,000 in the bank.
so this question can be read as:

would I choose a woman of 155 cm or one of 185 cm with less money in the bank? I think the answer is not too difficult. I am 5.9/176.

Isn't it usually the woman who chooses?
After all, it's the men who propose, not the other way around.

I wouldn't fit in my Ginetta (or most other race cars) if I was either 5'1" or 6'1". Life's hardly worth living if I can't race, so I'll take neither

    I wouldn't mind having a bit more cash. 1.85 and 10k is better than 1.89 and 2k .

Yeah but all the fast bike-engined sprint/hillclimb cars are being driven by small guys. You wont fit a 6'1" into ANY of the new generation of very fast lightweight race cars and still be competitive
You can easily change seats and add padding if small but cutting your feet off if too tall wont work

At 5'9" I sometimes feel a little small for my bike already.. but with 500K I could have a pretty wicked custom made, so.. yea. That.

Very true. Though at least we don't want to be jockeys!

I'm 5'9", but I have a smaller rear than most. Late last year I did an arrive-and-drive session at Lydden Hill and took most of the skin off of my tailbone due to the seat being made for those with a larger rear.

I now never leave the house without my own seat, or a box full of duct tape and foam.
