You know, enjoy the Camaro for the time being. I think GM got the idea too late again, like the first Oil Crisis. All the good cars get canceled. I think the Camaro won't last much longer.

i would have enjoyed the camaro two years ago, when the retro trend was in full swing.
but they should be making the coupe 60 now, and they aren't.

The tail lights still look a bit like they suffer from angry Down's Syndrome. Front still looks good to me though.

Looking forward to taking one out for a test drive just for the heck of it.

It's interesting... But nothing to get excited about. I don't find any part of this car to be great or even good. The style is meh, and the above post about the tail lights is right on.

If this is what the GM engineers and designers come up with now days... It's hard to see why they are loosing sales right and left. *sarcasm*

Enough of this retro-funky-disco era stuff. This is the technology age, and GM better get in tune, or they should stop building cars and start trying to bring disco music to todays world, since they seem to like that era!

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

Its embarrassingly inappropriate in all the ways it could be. Wrong car, wrong time, wrong company.

I have no doubt that the engineers at GM are as top notch as any you'll find but they are simply producing a product based on a design brief which they have no control over.

I don't hate the car at all. I happen to think it's a wonderful expression of American engineering, Styling and Attitude.

The problem is by the time they released this car as a new model, it's 3 years since we've all first seen it. and thus, it's common. And a little staid.

I got in the shit for saying that. But it's the "GM" way better late then never.

i agree that they are probably releasing it at the wrong time, but im not gonna go so far as to say its a bad car.

its a better car than the gto and it seems to me like the gto is a pretty good car.

and dont rip on GM's engineers too much, they have made some pretty good cars as of late. the malibu is one of the best cars in its class and so is the c6, the z06 and the zr1 speaks for itself. they've got the engineering muscle (not all their cars are too heavy!), they just have bad timing and a slow buracracy (sp?).
