I rate Werner and Luhr higher than Rocky. This is a very weird situation to be honest. I can fully understand them picking up Treluyer; he is quick and has an in-depth knowledge of the opposition. The other two are no better than Luhr or Werner and certainly don't have their experience.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Lotterer has been somewhat of a dominant force in Super GT the past few years, so Audi having him drive shouldn't come as much of a surprise.

Hurray! Dome S102 is in the list. Interesting to see Oreca's Peugeot with a different engine - naturally aspirated unlike the turbocharged works cars.

    That must be a mistake.

Maybe, because I still can't understand the purpose of getting rid of a turbine on a diesel engine and leaving exactly the same displacement.

    I also think it's a mistake.

It's a mistake. They did it on last year's entry list with the 3rd Peugeot for some reason.

    # A RECORD NUMBER OF ENTRIES FOR 2010 SEBRING WINTER TEST
    # Anticipation continues to build for two-day test as 12 Hours draws closer
    #

Flying Lizard and Patrón Highcroft are two of the 25 entries confirmed for the Sebring Winter Test.
The 2010 American Le Mans Series Winter Test at Sebring International Raceway will feature a number of historic moments as the countdown continues to the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. A total of 25 cars – a record for the annual test – are on the initial entry with additions likely prior to the February 22-23 session.

In all, 10 different manufacturers will have their wares on display for the two-day test on Sebring’s historic 3.7-mile, 17-turn circuit.

The roster contains any number of eye-raising highlights. Among them are…
    • Aston Martin Racing’s Lola-Aston Martin prototype with Adrian Fernandez as one of the drivers.
    • Patrón Highcroft Racing’s HPD ARX-01c with the trio of David Brabham, Simon Pagenaud and Marino Franchitti
    • Eleven entries in GT2 from the likes of BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Porsche and of course Jaguar
    • Five of the new ORECA FLM09 prototypes for the new Le Mans Prototype Challenge class
    • Six Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars for the Grand Touring Challenge class.
    • Intersport Racing running its FLM09 alongside its Lola B06/10-AER for LMP1
    • Porsche entries in three of the five classes – Porsche RS Spyder in LMP2, four 911 GT3 RSRs for GT2 and the six GTC entrants.

American Le Mans Series cars will be on track from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. both days. Tickets are $10 per day with no public paddock access or overnight camping. Live Timing & Scoring will be available on americanlemans.com.

The American Le Mans Series will open its 12th season with America’s greatest sports car race, the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida from March 17-20. The green flag will fall at 10:35 a.m. on Saturday, March 20 with live coverage on SPEED.

Porsche's driver downsizing has left Collard to race with Corvette in the LMS and 24h of Le Mans.

Then again, all the Audi and Porsche drivers are interchangeable; so it isn't a big loss.

"Level 5 Motorsports is the latest championship-winning team to confirm its entry into the American Le Mans Series’ Le Mans Prototype Challenge class for 2010. Based in Madison, Wis., Level 5 will compete in the full nine-round championship with ORECA’s FLM09 prototype.

Team owner Scott Tucker and former Le Mans 24 Hours winner Christophe Bouchut will compete for the full season. The pairing also is entered for the Series’ annual Winter Test on February 22-23 at Sebring International Raceway. Level 5 expects to take delivery of its FLM09 today and is the sixth team to purchase an ORECA-built racer.:

They are letting the Japanese Lambo Owners Club team in again? they would want to have a better showing than last year, personally I thought that would/should have been a nail in their racing career coffin.

looks a tidy well spread entry list this year a lot of different cars and teams... nice to see the Jag and the M3 in GT2

whats the word on Nissan entering the GTR? was I hearing things or will this happen eventually?
