Yes I do. When you commute, you don't get the sense of community that you do if you were to stay on campus - especially in first year. I probably would prefer commuting though I guess. Gah I dunno, it's hard to say. I made friends with my buddy's floormates on campus and hung there a lot so maybe I woulda liked it if I had done it.

Dude, you arrived to the gas station with fumes.

i had a bunch of friends that commuted, and they never really felt that they fit in with the other students. although one of them was one of my closest friends through my time in school.

and don't worry, it gets better. the start of frosh year is the worst, but give it a month or two and you'll feel at home.

Mine holds 5.5 litres. I fill mine up according to how much change I have.

Well, after turning down the massive university only a mile from my house, I will be rooming in a double along with two other doubles in a suite setup - think six people sharing a three-bed, two-bath apartment w/o a kitchen.

My first week or so in the dorms kind of sucked because I didn't know anyone and most of the other people there already knew someone. But once I made friends it was pretty great, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

My experience is that the lines hold quite a bit of fuel as well. That, or he had a Kramer moment.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Yeah, I know how you feel. I lived there and I don't feel a sense of community.

    I gotta go out more.

Eh, not really. Don't like it all that much, but it's great academically.

There's a school near me. It doesn't mean it's desirable.

Ah, suites are a hit and miss. If your roomates are cool, then that's fine. But you do realize if they're assholes, you live and need to be near them too right?

Is there a living room too?

Those sorts of shoes are epically comfortable, but I'd never buy a Car branded pair.

I didn't think I was running that low.

Also, if you take a picture of a gas pump in the US, you will almost certainly be questioned by the station attendants.

    (But Kramer moment?)
