    End of the Arnage

Bentley Motors has announced it is putting on sale the Arnage Final Series. This is the last 150 Arnage to be built.

    Arnage Final Series

10 years of an insane car. Not sure what the reason is, but sad to see it go. I hope its replacement is worthy.

They can't axe the Arnage!!! It epitomises England: Anachronistic, expensive to run and dangerously fast in the right/ wrong hands.

Sad to see such a wonderful (and incongruous) car be laid to rest.

even after understanding the new Phantom is such a good product, the Arnage was still my favorite. Anachronistic is possibly the best way to describe it. it's like when you are at high school, and the last cool guy I knew graduates and leave, while you are still in the first or second year, and you know there won't be a replacement worth him/it.

I hope its replacement is as British as it was (in feel) not some German rubbish.

Although the Rolls is more luxurious and comfortable, it just doesn't put a smile on your face like the Arnage did. Ridiculously powerful, RWD, to sum it up, what other car can you powerslide while sipping on champagne?
What's not to like? Well, nothing although some of the clients driving them around London certainly should not have been sold their Arnage.

The Bentley is a car i'd choose over a Rolls in a heartbeat.
It's better looking, powerful and just seems to have more of a special aura about it.
If you've got a Roller, you're just there to be seen. If you've got an Arnage, you're there for the long haul, with class and taste to boot.

It really is a sad day, i love the Arnage to death, and the Brooklands (which it spawned) is one of my all time favourite cars as well. Arnage T or Brooklands for me.

Nope, even that was right. Unlike the Phantom it had the presence without being in your face.

It was going to happen sooner or later. It was getting long in the tooth, you know?

I'm sure there will be a replacement even with the economic meltdown. The extreme rich will always have more money to burn.

I hate to be the dissenting opinion, but its a $60,000 car with a $200,000 name badge. I'll never understand what makes people lust after expensive cars soleley because they're expensive. There's tons of better cars that just don't have the reputation as being expensive. Humans are silly social monkeys that care entirely too much how others perceive them by what they possess. That's the only thing that made this car special. Sure its nice, but there's lots of nice cars in the world.
