    Friend's new ride

I was in hurry once I got to her house and I had two options, either snap some nice photos, or take a few quick ones on auto mode and give the car a test-drive...

So of course I chose option #2. The car is a little monster! Beautiful throaty V8 sound, what a machine. NOT my cup of tea, small and very girly imo, but a very powerful car without a doubt.

For the price, a lot of cars come to mind... M3, 2005 or so NSX, C6 Z06, or a gazillion used cars with a lot of money for mods, etc etc etc... But it's the car that she wanted and the car that she got.

    5.4L V8 355hp - 376lb torque - 3472lbs

At least it's an AMG. I'd trade my firstborn son for it while I'd go for the Z06 or NSX too, or even better something like a Nobel M400, I'm sure the Merc is safer and more comfortable. Proving the point that women are smarter than we are.

You could probably get a used NSX and still have money left over.

But yeah, I guess it's just a hopped up hairdresser's car.

Great car. It may be a bit girly for others, but I'd take one in a sec!

    Cheers

I would take that car in a second...and if someone made a comment about it being girly I would just ask them if the exaust smelled girly too. In reality 90% of cars on the road wont be able to catch that thing

Oh yeah, the car's okay. Rep points for it being an AMG.

NIce car, I actually don't think that its girly at all, especially not in that colour. An awesomely quick car, a real little rocket, good choice. I was wondering how hard she'll be driving it, and how hard you drove it on your test run.

I floored that thing down completely, but only to about 70mph (we didn't drive it on the highway) 7 speed paddle-shifters. While it's quicker than my Z, it feels slower for some reason... Maybe the comfort, built-quality, leather, automatic, etc.. make it feel slower. The Z is more rough around the edges and you feel a stronger push against the seat when you accelerate.
