Took it to the same place that my '95 Lincoln was painted at. Supposed to take one week and I brought it in last Tuesday. I have a feeling it will take a little longer, but that's okay as long as it's done properly.

With the Lincoln, I chose "Plus 2" (available is Plus 1 through 4). With the limousine, I went with top option, Plus 4, and chose the available color sanding and buffing.

Here are a two "before" photos of it parked next to my '69 Fleetwood Brougham. When both cars are parked side by side, it's easy to tell that the '69 FB has the better paint... for now.
Pimpin! How much does a a paint job like that cost in the US?

Not "pimpin." More like "executive-size luxury." (I like that phrase better ).

As for the price, the place I went to has several options. The '95 Lincoln, with the Plus 2 paint cost around $950. Since I went with the top option, Plus 4, and chose the optional "color sand and buff (for $399) and had a few minor dings and creases fixed ($320), the total will be about $2,200.

Many independent shops charge $5,000 and up for a similar job, so I think I got a very good price.

Repaint is completed. It came out nice. Not perfect, but very good for the price. (I really did not want to spend $10,000 just for a repaint!)

Here are a few quick photos I took of it. It looks much better with the spider-webbing gone and no faded areas...

Sounds like a good deal. Especially including repairs.

Yes, I think so. The real test will be how it looks in 5 years or so.

The paint shop does have good reviews, though, so it should be okay.

    A few more photos.

I really like how it looks in the 1st photo, all black and shiny. And I do like how the repaint came out.
