Well it was marketed wrong as it was supposed to be a dry grip biased all-season. It sucks in the dry, hopeless in the wet and noisy and rides like shit....and expensive.

2002-2006 G35 also comes with odd tire size that if you want to match diameter you don't have that many option, so I figure either go full summer(we have winter snow with Pirelli) or go with touring(Bridgestone Turanza). In the end we went with the Yokohama S-Drive summer tire....They are also like $40 a pop cheaper....

The one item I've learnt never to cheap out on - good tyres. Its rediculous how dangerous those nankang cheap malaysian tyres are.

We use Bridgestone, and the last set we got were Potenzas. We got a set a while back for the TL, it drives a lot better.

    Tires are very important indeed.

clean headlight covers (i broke one), and a telemetry box thing. very useful thing to have! just don't leave it on by accident on public roads, lest you get pulled up by the police and they see it..

Why do the police care if you have one? Does it somehow interfere with their radar?

if it's turned on it logs all your acceleration and speed figures. think about that..

    Yep.

So far the tires have been amazing. Much better than the stock tires that came with the car. No torque steer, no traction control coming on in the rain, excellent traction in the dry and in the wet.

Clutch, have you ever used Traqmate for track days? http://store.traqmate.com/
It's quite the powerful program. You can input the tach, air/fuel ratio, temp gauges, gear ratios, etc into the system. That allows you to see where you are running lean or rich, your speed, if your gears are too short or too long and it also shows your hp at that time. It also maps the track and you can compare your line lap by lap. We use it in the race cars at work, I highly reccomend it.

yeah if you've just come off a mountain drive for example you probably don't want that data for the police to see
