Hey, my brother's 30 and doesn't have one. My advice is to not practice in one car and then take the test in another.

I did all my practicing in my Jeep (3 knobs and the turn signal/wiper stalk is all it has in the way of non driving controls) and then drove my aunts Grand Cherokee (dozens of buttons, knobs and stalks) for the test becuase my Jeep was somewhere else and I didn't want to wait. It did not go well and the examiner was not amused. I still passed, but only by the 1 point I had left after 30 seconds in (hadn't even left the parking lot where we started.)

Went to Jack and the box and splurged on a Big Cheeseburger and a large curly fry for $3.67. Rolling in the dough I am.

No. Wanted one, but got a really good deal on this one, soo... And really there's not a pressing reason to have a manual. It holds the gear you're in even if you don't manually select first or second gear. If you're offroad you're not going to be wanting a higher gear than that anyways. It's occasionally annoying on this one steep road near my moms house because at the posted speed of 50mph it can't decide what gear it wants when you're going up, so I just go 55 and all's well.

finally caved and bought one of these. I got the 32G because I needed a ton more space for music. Now I look like an idiot carrying around an iphone and ipod, but at least I don't have to delete music in order to add new stuff on this one. Don't think I'll be maxing it out any time soon.

Does anybody know how much you could get if you would sell a Commodore C64 of the first series today, say, via e-bay? Just curious.

Good i thought they have become some sort of computer freak collectible over the years. In this case i would have been VERY angry, because i had one and, well... destroyed it a little bit. Unintendedly, of course.

If you can submerge it, it should do fine in the shower. I think it's good up to 10 feet.

I don't think water damage is pimento's worry...
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
