I wonder how many of these surveys there are? All catering to various city's ego no doubt. Melbourne is a dump as far as I'm concerned. Personally, I'd rather live in the tropics

But Vancouver does look good, nice pics
I'm not sure what that article says because I'm not registered to view that site, but I found another Aussie article that said in 2004 Vancouver was tied for 1st with Melbourne, just like in 2002.

ive spent alot of time in both places (more in Zuri tho, see my location ). IMO id rather live in Vancouver but Zurich is much "nicer". but i like the cold+wet outdoors in the NW so im biased.
theyre both ridiculously expensive. my grandmother in Zurich lives in an apartment that cost 8-digits USD.
and nobody in vancouver can make a pizza, for some reason they all use fake cheese?

anyway...nice pics! i once flew from vancouver to portland in a small plane, very nice area.

He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

I guess as a Texan you're only used to sand and desolation
