    vintage cars after the flood

last september twenty six, the city of marikina in the Philippines experienced it's worst flooding in history... Seeing the vintage cars a few blocks from my home, i was not only taken aback by their present condition but how priceless these cars are before the flood..

A sad sight indeed and not just the flooded-out cars, but the civil devastation in general...

In similar vein, many valuable and irreplacable old cars were literally burnt to a crisp in those recent and awful bushfires in Southern Oz.

Sad to see, but small beer compared to the human costs.
Never own more cars than you can keep charged batteries in...

it's easy to make more humans, but those cars aren't in production any more

edit: whoa that came out way harsher than i intended

It is a rather sad sight to see old and rare cars destroyed in such disasters. It makes me think of some pictures I saw a while back showing classic cars destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.

indeed human lives are just as important.. in our city alone, almost 200 died from the floods, their families are left with an uncertain future. My warmest of gratitudes for your concern.

On the other hand, cars such as the jaguar e type you'd find in the picture makes car lovers like most of us sad.

my own car at this point is still being fixed and repainted.. damages to my home and automobile had been quite a burden. But i'm still thankful that i'm alive..
