maybe he just wanted to stop there for a short time, so didn't bother parking it properly?

I like the Veyron. I have huge respect for anyone who buys one because it is a technological and engineering triumph and is an amazing car to drive. I have no respect for anyone who buys one because it's simply the most expensive new car ever made.

Or because it can "do 400km/h".

I'm afraid probably about 99,5% of costumers fall into this category.

What´s the point of buying any remotely sporty or fast car if not for what it can do?

Wait, Dubai plates in London. And it's '11'. I'll go for option B.
Nail on the head here. In Dubai the closer the number on the plate is to 1 the closer the person is to the royal family.

Not the most flattering color scheme in the world for this car IMO.

Numbers alone are meaningless in an automobile.

Besides, where are you going to do 400km/h anyway...

    85% I still like it.

    And if I had the money I'd buy one . . .

In black over yellow with a tan interior . . .

And I'd learn how to park it.

Bah, I had been drinking a little and my spelling was off in all my posts.

I have the same problem, actually. I can never bribe people successfully, even after watching someone do it. That may have something to do with the fact that when people see me they always think I'm a cop, though. I'm still not sure why.

Edit: Yes, learn how to park no matter what you drive. And don't think that you can take up two places just because you're driving a nice car and don't want someone to park next to you. Driving a nice car doesn't make you better than me (just more successful and probably with hotter women) and if I have to I will squeeze my beat up 4x4 in next to your shiny new car just to teach you a lesson.

Pink fuzzy handcuffs are not becoming of an officer of the law.

Matra, you're obviously not giving them enough. I recommend giving them a roll of money with a few real bill on the outside and Monopoly®©™ monie$ on the inside.

PRoblem in the UK is that not only is everywhere monitored on CCTVs but all the parking stuff is done using "technology". So handhel box links to local parkign meters and reads the tickets on cars to confirm validity adn if more than 2 minutes over due AUTOMATICALLY print out the ticket and take photos of car timestamped that is uploaded to the compter file on the case. Nothing along the chain where people can be bribed I hear beating them up doesn't work any more either !!

I once was IN COURT for an erroneous parking ticket. 4 months of letters an dcommunicatiosn and the "compjuter system" still wanted me to pay the fine. So I wen tto court and having a great defense lawyer ( represetnted myself ) got off with it AND the SHerrif ( Scottish equivelent of the judge ) not only APOLOGISED to me but torn a strip off the prosecution Procurator Fiscal ( == District Attorney ) and ahd them pay all my expenses All along the way a human being coudl have stopped it but the computer systema dn the "Process" doesn't allow individuals to make choices like that .

Welcome to BIG BROTHER BRITAIN !!!!!!!!!
