If I'm not mistaken it had the Cosworth DFV, and one of the Mirages (I think it was the M8, altough it lookes very similar to this one) won Le Mans with Jacky Ickx at the wheel in the early 70's.

Hold on, there will be a separate thread on GR8Originally Posted by cmcpokey
Two of these cars participated in the 1973 24h Le Mans for the John Wyer's Gulf Reasearch Racing team. The drivers were Bell/Ganley and Hailwood/Watson/Schuppan. The cars were powered by Ford Cosworth DLV 3.0L V8 engines, the same that was used by Lolas in that year, known for their destructive vibrations. Neither of the cars finished the race, one because of a malfunctioning oil pump, the other one because of an accident.Originally Posted by Revo
According to my knowledge, five M6s were built in 1972-73. All but one were Group B5 roadsters with the aforementioned Cosworth engine. There was also a one-off coupe version, powered by a Weslake V12 engine, but it appeared on track only during the 1973 Le Mans test weekend and didn't participate in any races.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.
