mmm very critical....i'll agree with the campaign mode though, after knocking it off last night its probably not on par with cod but i didnt find the weapons to be much of an issue. Overall movement i found to be very similar to battlefield and such which has a different feel than cod and imo not a bad one. I wouldnt go as far as saying its dissapointing...just a different experience. Out of curiosity #1Mustangfan what console did you play it on?

Also, Alan Wake...interesting, I guess i didnt expect this be so cinematic but i guess that makes up for the repetitive game play. Quality graphics and good story line make this an enjoyable play. Crank the lights down, light up a biffter(not that i condone it) and you've got yourself an entertaining evening.

    Xbox 360 of course

The movement is very much a kin to battlefield. I find the bad companies too be great games, and due to destructibles and other environment features the movement fits and doesn't seem to be as restricting as moh, although as you say still very similar.

I bought a copy of SC1 Brood War (really- it took me 5 years to do so, and I can't really explain why ) and found out that the siege tanks have ridiculous range imbalances. Apart from that, the game is as good as the regular SC1.

btw, I've also bought sc2, but it doesn't run because one of my RAM cards is dead . This is all kinds of awfulness.

I finished Fallout NV. I'm not as impressed as I was when I started. I'm still peeved that they don't let you keep playing the game after the main story line is finished, so that all the side quests can be completed also. Major fail in my opinion. Now I've got to wait another year for them to release the add ons, just so that I can keep building on my character. Ah well. There's still Gran Turismo and the new COD to look forward to.

reliance on scripted events, enemies feel like paper targets (again, with scripted death animations), and you're shooting them with plastic pop guns.
nothing in the game has weight.
there is no achievement in getting a kill because there are so many cookie cutter enemies it's like shooting falling leaves in autumn; pointless, insubstantial and repetitive.
progress depends on your forward movement more than you racking up kills..
utter shite. someone else did most of the work already and treyarch still couldn't make anything more than a shit sandwich out of it.
    will try multi tonight.

Buying COD for the single player is the same as buying a prostitute for the conversation.

Multi + Zombies is where the core of the game is.

Even then you'll manage to find something to bug you..

Yea, I'm not going to bother with it.. CoD4:2 left me bored, even with the multi.. I can't imagine how this one won't.
