fitted..
gearbox is nearly done, using swepco oil, seine gate shift, and lightweight pressure plate or some such it should feel a lot quicker and nicer.

Lookin good, clutch!
Only thing I've done lately is get the bodywork on the Echo done and obtained another year's "safety" inspection on it. Right now it lacks the lower engine cover - great for doing oil changes, but adds a TON of wind noise and drag. As this is sort of a fuel economy project car for me, that will have to be addressed.

Nice job there, clutch! Speaking of mufflers, shoulda posted this earlier... got the Carrera exhaust installed on the Notch before driving it to a 356 gathering upstate last month. Installed the custom wheel and shifter too, made from Koa wood. The car is officially finished.

I am going to put the all-seasons on, which is a rare thing in Toronto in March.
Mind you, it was 25 today.

Removed both front knuckles and took them to have the bearings pressed in and out. During removal, I accidentally disconnected the drive axel in the CV boot right next to the wheel hub. Took it to the shop and they said that it was broke. Still saved around $200 from the quoted shop price to repair and I now have a new driveshaft as well.

I have replaced the head gaskets (and all seals above them) over the last few weeks.
