The 4 door Charger has been on the market since 2006, the Challenger is a 2 door coupe that will coming into production this year. Both cars will be offered in 3 trims:
SE: a 6 cyl model which will probably be the mass sellers
R/T: for those who want V8 performance without paying too much
SRT8: for those who want the top of the line performance trim (bigger V8, better brakes, sportier suspension).
Thank you i get that now.

Gms easy they throw SS on everything and somtimes a followup.

Ford easy normally they have a GT and then above that is SVT.

And last time I payed attention to chrysler usually the R/Ts where top of the line.....at least here in aus anyways.

My thoughts exactly - That red was not my style but they are offering another red - Inferno - that's darker and more my speed.

Check out this video for Top Gear Magazine of the 2008 SRT8 and the 1970s model. You can definitely see the similarities between the two in the shot of them lined up side by side. And man, the two cars driving together is awesome!

I'm no dyno expert but thats what struck me too (if an accurate representation of Hemi power 'curve')

My god! That thing looks hideous

I would rather get the SRT8 version or the charger

I haven't seen one yet either and I'm anxiously waiting for them to come out. I signed up for dodge updates and I'm betting they'll send something out when the cars are at the dealers. Man I can't wait!
