FD, easiest way to learn about Holdens is get Bathurst for rFactor and as well as the modern stuff there was a "legends" one which was 60s or 70s

    Great track and fun cars.

    Guess who's shocked now .

Here are a few Opels that were definitely sold in the US.

    I quite like this one

I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Funny how the only GM-US car that was ever sold in Europe as an Opel was a complete flop... *cough* Saturn Sky *cough*.

Edit: I forgot about the Sintra... which was also a fail.

It could only be a flop really, over here they never showed a single advertisment for it, not even in mags.

And being priced as an SLK/Z4 didn't help either.

Wich is a shame becouse it looks so much better than thoose.

It was the same story here :/ and because most german roadster buyers don't really care about the price, the interior and the build quality did a lot of damage to the want status.
It's such a shame that GM raped the GT name for a simple rebadge job, too.

I don't think the car itself is at fault, more the badge.

    The Speedster didn't sell either...

Growing up, my mother had an Opel Kadet, I remember it's reliability, but as far as "get up and go" forget it.

As always, it depends on the model and setup

The Speedster didn't sell because it merely resembled the concept car that everybody wanted. Also, it came out in Opels worst phase, when their reputation was hitting rock bottom. Also, it wasn't that cheap (which ruined it combined with my first point).

Well, it was an Elise on the cheap.

Better than a rebadged Saturn Sky.

    Probably.
