    Inspired by the EVO comparison?

I'd take the Sagaris, more headroom for me

Not at all, I saw these two cars very similar so I made the thread.

the marcos, because it doesn't look like it's been spat out of a blender, and i'd wager that it's more reliable

Yet another person falling into the mistake of buying into TVR stereotype. The

Marcos is built by a small, failing 'kit car' style company who have closed down and opened again what must be twice in the past 5 years. I have little doubt that it will happen again, and when it does there will be little support for the repairs that have to be made to it due to Marcos no longer existing. The Marcos' of old were always as unreliable as their equivalent TVR at the time, but because they were less well known, people didn't pick up on this fact like they did with the relitively large production TVRs.

since the marcos uses an LS2 there is no problem with maintenance there, as well as less possibility of breakdown than the TVR straight 6 as for the rest of either car, well it's all the same so i'd at least like one thing in my favour if i was to buy either of them.

The Marcos is better looking, but I just couldn't say no to a Sagaris.

The Marcos is certainly a prettier car, and is more of a Grand Tourer. If a proper GT is what I was after then the I'd take the Marcos every time. If I was after something more track-biased then I'd take the Sagaris out of the two, but to be honest if I wanted a track biased road car I'd more likely go down the route of an Exige, a Noble or maybe even a CaterField of some sort.

It's a really tough question - simply because I would take the Sagaris without a second thought but I Don't Know Why.
