Bottom line, he makes my reading, writing, and research filled days somewhat more interesting. Do you really want to take that away from a poor, starving law student? :^(
The mores here are that if you make a big point of owning a certain car, then you'll have to prove that. We have had many Skyline owners here. We used to have the Egg-Nog test, but of course there are other options. G35Coupe has been asked regularly to come up with shots of his car, but has produced nothing so far. In this day and age a simple phone gives you an easy opportunity to make a simple shot. I find it irritating that somebody claims to own a car, talks about his experience with that car, and refers to it often in order to bash other brands. I think this is a childish behaviour that should not be tolerated here.

And finally: Hurrah we disaggree again

I hate to burst your bubble Henk but we do agree again! I thought we were banning due to the silliness of his posts and the bs statements about who he's beaten/raced. If we are banning him about lying about owning a car, then I'm all for it

I cant keep living like this. (agreeing with you all the time) so allow me to make a statement. America rules, socialism sucks, horsepower/torque and acceleration times are what makes cars great!

there, things are back to normal

    LOL.

Discussion is always interesting, at least we have to grant him that. Lately UCP had been a bit dead, and he seemed to inject a bit life into it. Wheter it was by the good or wrong means it's an entirely different discussion.

Torque is what I like, as well as in gear-acceleration

Considering that this thread is already well off topic that reminds me of something. bmw 335i.

when i look at the numbers, it seems to be that this biturbo motor is really about the same performance wise as the 3.2 NA motor from the old m3. Does the 335i's motor have any advantages over the old m3 motor that prompted bmw to make it their top of the line (for non M cars) motor instead of just throwing the old M3 motor in there?

    Cost, fuel consumption and performance.

I have driven all three, the 3 litre twin turbo, the old 3.2 litre staright six and the new 4 litre V8, and objectively I'd say that the turbo six is the best. Barely any lag at all, impressive performance, ease of use, good fuel consumption.

However, my favourite? The old 3.2 litre M-fettled straight six. It had such great character.

Haha, I need some twin turbos...

Altough, in fuel consumption there's no argument to be had. You know I always recognise that.

I've never driven a 3.2 M3 motor. i long to one of these days but i have driven the 335i's bi turbo motor twice. Once in a testdrive in a 135i Convertible and recently in my uncles 335i down in texas. all i can say about that engine is WOW. i didn't even take it about 3k rpm because you dont' need to. its soo responsive. no turbo lag at all. the torque is always there and it has a nice sound to it as well. there is soooo much torque whenever you need it. 300ftlbs starting at 1400 rpm is amazing. it goes from 80-100mph like nothing on the highway barely has to do anything. makes my g35 feel so slow. its too fast, all it wants to do is go fast. it is a brilliant motor. and i hear with a chip you can easily get it to put out 400 horsepower. they revised it and put a twin scroll single turbo which has no lag better fuel efficiency and more torque at low end (if thats possible). BMW really shot themselves in the foot with this motor because now a 335i is just as fast as an E46 M3. and also in the 5 series because the 535i is very close performance to the 550i. its lighter and handles better. thats why BMW is now turboing everything.

Silence is a very powerful tool when used carefully and with great caution. In silence, clarity is possible, and thoughts become fairly cohesive. In silence, foes and friends alike become evident, while dancing to the tune of their egos.

To those who love tolerance and who feel it is an important aspect of their being, i commend your great courage, virtue, and greatness. To those who see it otherwise, there is still a chance for providence and experiences of life to open up such possibilities in their persons.

I have learnt that there is some wisdom even in the words of mad men, if one is willing to silence the ego and hubris in their souls to see such sport. Judge not, lest ye be judged. Love thy neighbor, as thy self. We are all creatures of providence, even at our worst. Open your hearts and minds, and let it be filled with the wonders and idiosyncracies of a wider world.

So in other words, you've got nothing and you're going for the Hail Mary pass.

If we all enjoyed cars the same way, this would be a terribly boring world. G35 rules, but I would love to have a Cadillac CTS-V. I have my eye set on this new doll, and i think I might pull the trigger for a used on next year, if all goes perfectly right.

    Allah Akbar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Silence is a powerful tool. I would suggest you use it more often.
