    911 GT1 or Carrera GT

alright guys, here is the deal, two super porsche (modern porsche), the 97 911 GT1 and the all new Carrera GT.

whats your opinion on the two cars?

I personally like the GT1 bit more just because it carries the flag ship 911 name, althrough the rear engine been changed to mid engine, longer wheelbase and much wider, but still the same flat six twin turbo charged engine which is porsches' speciality.

having said that, the v10 carrera gt is a master peice too.

any ways, ur opinion, ur say.

Tough call. On one hand the CGT is one of the most beautiful cars ever built. But the GT1 is just an animal. In the end I'd probably wind up going with the CGT.

if im choosing my one and only car, its a no-brainer...the CGT...

but if ive already got one or two really nice daily drivers and im choosing a 'fun' car...i might go for the GT1...

but i vote CGT...i cant ignore that awesome clutch and sweet V10 sound

oh, you should have included the 959 and/or 962 to make it an even harder choice

Well the GT1 is a no-comfort ballsy racer. If I could drive it to its limit I'd be at the race track all day long. Maybe I'd enter the LeMans as a privateer
But since I have no such illusions, I take the CGT. I still can't drive it to its limit, but it's more roadworthy. And the V10 sound is far superior to the boxer for my tastes. Like a F1 with a muffler!!!!!

I would go for the GT1, just because i would love the power. Even if it was my only car, i would just put the shopping in the passenger seat and not take anyone with me.

Sorry if I cannot express myself correctly, but I don't know English as good as I want, so my answers will probably be the same in many cases.

I am going with the CGT I love it so much. It is much more of a car that could be used everyday. That would be nice.

CGT, it's a better everyday car, mid engined and looks better IMO.

    I'll take a 959.

4wd helps in the wet weather of England.

Out of those 2, the CGT would be my choice. I prefer the GT1, but I reckon it would be a complete and utter pain on the roads.
